bear attacks
for some reason, even after 5 years in portland, i had never been to the redwoods before this past weekend. and now i feel really dumb about it taking so long… it was a wondrous road trip.
shimmers
rocks/docks/tiny people
dead shit
seadogs
brachiosaurs
fuckin wicked big trees
canopies
bunyan’s
babe’s balls
oh, it was grand.
as far as work stuffs, well. i’ve felt like i’ve been very efficient lately. lots and lots of new stuff getting started and others getting finished, but i’m only gonna show a little at a time.
mourning
flock
roses
more like this, please.
jeremy’s grandpa farm is done now. i like the tractor and the dining bell.
i got a chance to get good healed photos of larissa’s leg here, which i’m pretty stoked on. black and grey can be super awesome sometimes.
stipply geometrics. i’d love to do more stuff like this.
ganesh done last summer, i love how it’s all settled and softened into the skin.
i like this one. a ton of black and 4 simple colors. it works.
golden orb weaver. i really appreciated rebecca’s willingness to get it done nice and big on her hip, so the details could really be brought out. these spiders are amazing creatures.
nothing new to report, really, just an update. i’m pretty psyched on some tattoos getting started and worked on lately, so keep an eye out here for updates. shit’s gonna be cool.
also, reno next weekend. come say hi!
be good, kids.

Psshh… Don’t even talk about golden orb weavers until you visit Florida.

I didn’t mean that. I just meant the “amazing creatures.” When you have to swat 2 inch long ones away from your face every 5 feet wherever you hike here, they’re slightly less amazing. But then again, they still are: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HpE_3Cd7-sw/TJ9OV-i-f8I/AAAAAAAADII/T4QLQ_EfKVs/s1600/toso4.jpg
Does that mean you’re coming?

haha, i actually remembered that photo from your blog months ago and used it as reference for the tattoo. like a lot of things, they’re super cool looking but i’d be bummed if i ever had to deal with them in person.
aaaand, i don’t know. someday?

So…what you’re saying is that dinosaurs are still alive in Oregon? Cool!

Love the funky geometry one… have been wanting to get something similar for ages. Wish I had the money, live 5 minutes from your shop.
